SPD@Tampines
With the growth of our programmes and services, we have branched out to set up a new centre in the east. SPD@Tampines provides rehabilitation services and social service to adults and children.
Paediatric Rehabilitation Programme
We help to minimise the risk of developing a long-term disability for children with special needs by providing early support. We support children and youth from birth to 16 years old who are suspected of having, or are diagnosed with a physical or developmental disability. We help children who have delayed growth in the following areas: physical/motor skills, social/emotional skills, adaptive skills, speech and communication skills and cognitive skills.
Programmes available:
- Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Young Children (EIPIC) (For children 6 years and below)
- Providing Access to Early Support (PACES) (For ages 3 to 6)
- Continuing Therapy Support (For children 16 years and below)

We offer primary and secondary disease prevention intervention by professional therapists to avert the development of disabilities and promote a healthy lifestyle. This includes persons with medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, scoliosis, low back pain, heart disease and even obesity.
Programmes available:
- Specialised and customised exercise plans from therapists for persons with minor health conditions

It also provides training for caregivers to improve in their care-giving skills.
SPD Therapy Hub
SPD Therapy Hub offers professionally supervised physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy to Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) whose clients require such services. Supported by NCSS, the service aims to provide cost effective, outcome-based quality services to community-based organisations.
