We are a non-profit organisation providing a variety of programmes and services for people with physical disabilities such as rehabilitation, day care, vocational training, sheltered employment, education support, technology support and special transport.

Day Activity Centre
Training Oficcer
You are required to
- work in collaboration with therapists to meet the therapeutic needs of the clients
- porter clients from place to place for their treatment or activities as well as assist them in their activities of daily living (ie feeding, dressing, taking care of own personal hygiene
- be responsible in planning and providing training programmes as well as ensuring the safety and well being of the clients under your care
Requirements:
- Have an interest in serving, educating and training people with physical disabilities
- GCE ‘O’ or ‘A’ Levels or Diploma in Education, Special Education, Nursing or Disability Studies or related fields
- Good team player with initiative
- Prior working experience with people with disabilities is an advantage
Rehabilitation Services Division
Senior Speech Therapists/Speech Therapists
You will assess and identify the individual needs of the clients to implement appropriate therapy programmes and be part of the trans-disciplinary team of professionals providing rehabilitative treatment to the clients
Requirements:
- Master or Degree in Speech Therapy from an internationally recognised programme
- Foreign-trained therapists must be a member of the respective professional associations like Speech-Language and Hearing Association Singapore
- Applicants for the position of Senior Therapist should have at least 5 years of relevant working experience and be competent in multi-agency collaboration
- Suitable candidates who wish to work on a locum basis are also welcomed
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in local languages will be an advantage.
Senior Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapist
Description
- Assess, plan and implement Occupational Therapy programmes for clients under the rehabilitation services division
- Participate in the intake assessment sessions with social workers to select appropriate candidates for admission
- Maintain clear records of all cases treated
- Write and submit reports on all cases treated when required
- Refer clients to respective specialists for consultation and appropriate treatment when necessary
- Involve in-group programmes for Sheltered Workshop and Rehabilitation Centre clients
- Train Training Officers and Workshop Supervisors in the techniques of Occupational Therapy when required
- Teach and liaise with parents of Sheltered Workshop clients
- Participate in Therapy Hub projects and other outreach programmes when required (ie on-site assignments at various VWOs and partner organisations)
- Conduct home visits when necessary
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Member of respective professional bodies in Singapore
- Certification in specialised clinical areas will be an advantage
- Involved in professional activities through professional bodies
- Involved in supervision of therapy assistants and therapy students on clinical placement
Physiotherapist
