SPD celebrated the dedication and selflessness of volunteers at the annual SPD Volunteer Appreciation session held at the Cathay Cineleisure Orchard on 6 December. Close to 130 volunteers who attended the exclusive event were treated to a hearty breakfast before they were ushered into the movie hall for the sneak preview of Walt Disney Picture’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”.

Poet Gwendolyn Brooks once said "Good health is a duty to yourself, to your contemporaries, to your inheritors, to the progress of the world". So for the general wellness of the SPD staff, we organised the SPD Well-Being Day on 27 November to not only promote healthy and positive living, but also allow staff from different centres to spend time together.
