Accessibility Features at SPD Ability Centre

23 January 2015

Persons with disabilities often encounter barriers in the built environment, for example kerbs, stairs or narrow corridors that deter wheelchair-users from entering a building or accessing a public amenity which in turn restricts them from participating socially. At SPD Ability Centre, we have incorporated accessibility features in our building to allow ease of access for persons with disabilities. Letter on Corporate Social Responsibility

We are heartened that many corporate organisations have stepped up to contribute back to the society. While taking heed that corporate social responsibility goes beyond voluntarism and philanthropy, the continuity of such deeds are important considerations for VWOs that rely on the help from the community. For any building to be structurally strong and sound, the foundation is key. The same can be said for us as we learn and grow.
