Enabling Services Hub

A wheelchair user communicating with another person

Overview

Enabling Services Hubs (ESH) aim to develop a stronger ecosystem of support for persons with disabilities in the community with information and referral, social and recreational activities, caregiver support and continual education and learning courses for persons with disabilities. Its establishment is part of efforts under the Enabling Masterplan 2030 and takes a regional approach to bring community support services closer to the homes of persons with disabilities and their caregivers.

Through collaborations with community partners such as People’s Association, SG Cares Volunteer Centres, CaringSG, schools and libraries, persons with disabilities and the community can participate in inclusive activities together.

ESH has a dedicated team that proactively conducts door-to-door outreach visits to persons with disabilities in the community who are currently not served by any social services

In partnership with SG Enable, SPD runs ESH@Tampines and ESH@Punggol, offering the following programmes and services

  • Information and referral
  • Social and recreational activities
  • Caregiver support
  • Continual education and learning courses
