SUMMARY:Launch of the StarHub-SPD Learning & Development Centre
DESCRIPTION:SPD is launching the new StarHub-SPD Learning &amp\; Developmen
 t Centre (LDC). The LDC will offer quality enrichment programmes\, worksho
 ps and activities to encourage the integration of physically disabled stud
 ents and to improve their education experience. Programmes offered will co
 mplement mainstream school curriculum. Non-disabled students are also welc
 ome to participate in the programmes.\n\nThe LDC will also run programmes 
 for physical education teachers in mainstream schools. Participants will b
 e able to pick up tips on how to integrate students with physical disabili
 ties into their sessions.\n&nbsp\;\nThe LDC will be complemented by the Sp
 ecialised ATC\, which is equipped to provide assistive technology consulta
 tion to children\, to help them overcome their physical limitations throug
 h the use of technology.
