Join us for the highly anticipated 8th edition of our annual SPD Ability Walk & Run, an inclusive event dedicated to raising funds in support of persons with disabilities (PwDs). This year, we are excited to present again the dynamic hybrid format that offers

  • the convenience of a virtual format over three weeks in August, allowing participants to choose locations that suit them best, as well as
  • the fun and informative physical geo-location “Singapore River Trails” activity on 2 September at the iconic Singapore River!

Whether you prefer the flexibility of setting your own pace and completing the challenge on your own terms or the joy of bonding with your loved ones outdoors as you comb for checkpoints along the charming River, the enhanced SPD Ability Walk & Run has something for you! Embrace this opportunity to engage in a workout while making a meaningful contribution to the lives of people with disabilities.

Join us and together, let’s create an inclusive community where everyone is a part of it, not apart from it.

Virtual Walk & Run

14 August to 1 September 2023

Challenge yourself to walk and run up to 50km anytime and anywhere from 14 August to 1 September to unlock all finisher e-badges!

Singapore River Trails

2 September 2023, 8am to 10am

We will end-off the 3-week long event with the physical geo-location finale activity “Singapore River Trails”, where you have to locate checkpoints to complete on-site activities and quizzes through the 42Race mobile app. We are privileged to have Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Education and Foreign Affairs attend as our guest-of-honour.

Don’t forget to put on your event bib on the event day before embarking on your trail! Show your bib to claim freebies* at designated points along the route.

Give and/or Raise Funds

We have set up an online donation campaign to raise funds in support of persons with disabilities. The funds raised will enable us to offer greater subsidies and assistance to our clients, especially those from the lower income group. Your donation, no matter the amount, can truly make a difference. It is the collective power of small contributions that allows us to achieve big goals.

By donating to our campaign, you become part of a community of compassionate individuals dedicated to creating positive change. It would be great if you could also share this appeal with your family, relatives, friends, colleagues and social networks. Spreading the word about our cause will greatly increase our chances of success and widen our reach.

Remember, no act of kindness is too small. Your support will play a pivotal role in shaping a brighter future for those in need. Together, we can make a lasting impact and bring hope where it is needed the most. Click here to make a donation now!
