Key Responsibilities:

1. Volunteer Development, Manager and Relations

  • Develop a volunteer management strategy to foster strategic and sustainable collaboration with corporate and individuals
  • Establish a structured framework to ascertain the needs of SPD and its programmes, curate suitable volunteering opportunities and match them with appropriate volunteers for sustainable collaboration
  • Recruit, develop, manage, train, deploy and retain SPD volunteers to complement and augment SPD’s human resource capital, increase engagement with the community and promote the interest and welfare of SPD
  • Monitor and evaluate volunteer activities to ensure effectiveness in meeting SPD’s objectives
  • Develop and review volunteer policies, procedures and standards of volunteer service in SPD
  • Manage SPD’s volunteer acknowledgement and appreciation programmes and activities

2. Assist the Director, Organisational Development in the review of organisation KPIs Balanced Scorecard to identify areas for improvement, consolidation and growth through analysis of requisite reports.

3. Assist the Director, Organisational Development, in identifying managing and mitigating risk areas in SPD

4. Manage the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Organisational Development Division

5. Work on cross-divisional as assigned from time to time

6. Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer or the Director, Organisational Development

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline related to social sciences or marketing
  • Proven track record of working with volunteers, corporates community groups and foundations
  • Analytical, flexible, resilient and ability to see different perspective and draw connectivity
  • General knowledge of organisational development, marketing and resource management will be an advantage
