A. Job Description
The Senior Executive, Resource Development, is responsible for raising funds for SPD’s cause and meeting fundraising targets to serve people with disabilities through SPD’s programmes and services. He/she will work with internal and external stakeholders in planning and implementing fundraising activities.
B. Job Responsibilities
- Plan, execute and market fundraising initiatives including campaigns and events to meet fundraising targets
- Explore different channels to grow donors and supporters for offline and online fundraising platforms
- Deliver presentations to promote the work of SPD, and fundraising events and activities
- Drive collaborative fundraising with educational institutions and individuals including giving advice on fundraising and attending events
- Develop and design fundraising materials including proposals, reports, donation appeals, sponsorship packages, and publicity of events
- Identify, develop and implement new and innovative fundraising activities including leveraging technology and social media where possible, to improve fundraising portfolio
- Any other duties/tasks as assigned by the Management.
C. Job Holder Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in marketing/or related discipline
- At least 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising or similar capacity
- Strong event management skills and must be social media savvy
- Excellent command of oral and written English. Ability to engage with Chinese-speaking community preferred
- Energetic and outgoing personality, strong team player
- Creative and resourceful, with a positive attitude, and able to work independently
- Ability to multi-task, with strong organisational and people skills
