Key Responsibilities:
1. Organisational
1.1. Develop and implement IT policies, strategy & roadmap and operational procedures to ensure that IT infrastructure architecture, solutions, security and technologies support organisational vision and mission.
1.2. Determine the short-term and long-term IT needs for current and future business requirements
1.3. Define desired performance standards for IT systems and services and monitor and assess performance
1.4. Recommend and implement new technologies/solutions for security, IT operations and service quality improvement, as well as for cost optimisation
1.5. Ensure IT processes and systems comply with regulatory compliance requirements e.g. PDPA etc.
1.6. Build strong partnership with key internal and external stakeholders from a strategic and operational perspective to ensure alignment with business requirements and expectations.
1.7. Oversee performance of IT vendors in the delivery of services
1.8. Evaluate needs and develop and monitor organizational ICT plan.
2. Operational
2.1. Prepare and execute IT budget with forward plans to ensure the continuity of services and improvement in work efficiency.
2.2. Responsible for inventory of hardware, software licensing and maintenance, as well as IT support services for SPD HQ and satellite centres.
2.3. Responsible for the management of the servers, network and maintenance of desktops, laptops and other IT related equipment.
2.4. Oversee troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, disaster recovery, business continuity plans and provides expert support when necessary.
2.5. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships.
- Experience in planning and policy work in the public sector will be advantageous.
