The SPD Charity Show 《真情无障爱》will return to Channel 8 for the seventh time on Sunday, 17 March 2019, with the theme“Little Actions Keep Dreams Alive” (“善小。梦大”). Mediacorp artistes and members of the media were gathered at SPD Ability Centre for the media conference on 26 February 2019.
Ernest Wong loves playing the harmonica and picks up popular songs on his own. He has a few favourite tunes which he occasionally plays for the training officers and volunteers at our Day Activity Centre. Come 17 March, Ernest will be performing one of his favourites on national television as a participant of the SPD Charity Show 2019.
He joined in the show’s media conference held at the SPD Ability Centre on 26 February where he met television and radio personality, Marcus Chin, who will be collaborating with him on the show.
Other artistes in attendance included Pan Ling Ling, Yeo Yann Yann and Bonnie Loo, who shared about the performances that they are putting up and also took the opportunity to visit the SPD Day Activity Centre (DAC) and Sheltered Workshop.
Here’s a look at the excitement generated at the media conference:
