Ron joined SPD as Assistant Chief Executive Officer (Services) in June 2025. In this role, he provides strategic oversight to SPD’s Chief Allied Health Office and works closely with the Services Division Directors across all divisions to strengthen service delivery and integration.
Prior to joining SPD, Ron held several key leadership roles at SG Enable, his last appointment being the Deputy Chief Executive. During his tenure, Ron played a pivotal role in driving transformative initiatives in accessibility and assistive technology, and held different portfolios in adult disability services, employment and lifelong learning programmes and caregiver support. He also built the sector’s capabilities in developing social innovations to meet emerging needs for the disability community with the Enabling Lives Initiative Grant.
Before his move to the social service sector, Ron was Director of Advanced Systems at the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA). A recipient of the DSTA Scholarship, Ron holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
Ron is also known for his involvement in the wider community, having contributed actively to Engineering Good and the Singapore International Foundation. With more than two decades of leadership experience spanning digital transformation, social impact, and cross-sector partnerships, Ron is a seasoned and respected leader in the public and social service sectors.
