SPD’s 51st Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on 29 August 2015 at the SPD Ability Centre.

At the AGM, SPD President Ms Chia Yong Yong reviewed key highlights and achievements for the Financial Year 2014/2015 and confirmed the key focus areas for FY2015/2016 which included collaboration with the Government to serve more children living in the East, doubling service outputs for our Transition Programme for Employment, and introducing competency maps for staff development.

We bid farewell to one of our longest-serving Board member and former SPD President Mr See Cher at the AGM who stepped down from the Board of Management. Mr See served as SPD’s president between 2004 and 2008. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation for his past contributions and wish him the best in his endeavours.
