Staff at SPD@Jurong hosted guests from Macau’s Kai Chi Early Learning and Development Centre who were on a study trip to Singapore.

Similar to our Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC), the Kai Chi Centre conducts training and learning programmes for children 3 to 6 years old who are diagnosed with developmental delay, autism or cerebral palsy.

The group of 30 consisting of occupational therapist, physiotherapists, speech therapists and psychologists, was led by Kai Chi Centre’s principal to learn more about EIPIC’s service model. The meeting on 19 November provided an opportunity for professionals from both countries to learn from each other.
