The Enabling Village is a new $25 million community facility in Red Hill that was launched by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 2 December.

Training and employment are the key focus on the 30,000 sqm site, and two SPD programmes have been relocated to the Enabling Village to provide ease and convenience for people with disabilities at this one-stop centre.

Assistive Technology Services
SPD now provides assistive technology services at Tech Able which is located within the Enabling Village. Visitors to Tech Able can view the wide range of display showcasing assistive devices and technology for people with disabilities. Our team of assistive technology (AT) specialists also provides consultation, assessment and training on AT as well as referral support on the devices.

Employment Support Programme (ESP) Programme
Our employment support team now operates from the Enabling Village and helps people with disabilities secure employment in the open market. They also provide job coaching and support to the employee with disabilities newly placed in the organisation to ensure that they are able to adapt and cope with the job and working environment.
