The SPD “Let’s Focus on Inclusion!” photo contest was held from September to December last year. Singaporeans were encouraged to whip out their smartphones or cameras to capture moments of inclusion. The winning photos are now roving different parts of Singapore to spread the message of inclusion of people with disabilites.

Among a total of 500 entries, Mr Wong Chek Poh’s photo grabbed the attention of the judges. His photograph of a parent in wheelchair being included in a family outing, depicting families not forgetting their loved ones with disabilities, won him the top prize in the Open category.

The winners were recognised at an award ceremony held at the Central Public Library in conjunction with the launch of the “Breaking Barriers” campaign on 10 February 2017.
