Mr Zhang Weijie is the Director of Energy & Climate Policy at the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment. Prior to this, he was the Director of Strategy at the National Research Foundation, where he drove the formulation of research, innovation and enterprise (RIE) strategies to meet Singapore’s economic and societal needs. Weijie has served in various roles in the public service, including the People’s Association, where he helped to strengthen trust between the people and the government, and the Ministry of Education, where he reviewed policies on school posting.
