Ms Lilian Tan

Ms Lilian Tan is a highly regarded professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades in human capital management and organisational change. Her career has encompassed leadership positions in diverse industries, including professional services, telecommunications, information technology, aviation, real estate, hospitality, services and media across different geographical locations globally.

Prior to assuming the role the Chief Human Resources Officer at Mediacorp, Ms Tan is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Mustard Seed Consulting Group. She was the former Group Chief Human Resources Officer in City Developments Limited and Chief Human Capital Officer of SATS Ltd. Her professional trajectory also includes holding esteemed senior positions at globally recognised organisations such as KPMG Consulting Asia Pacific, BearingPoint, Singapore Computer Systems Limited and Singapore Telecommunications Ltd.

Ms Tan is a prominent member of the HR community in Singapore. She has received accolades in recognition of her contributions to the profession, including the Institute for Human Resource Professionals – Master Professional in 2021 and the Singapore Human Resources Institute’s Leading HR Leader Award in 2019 and 2015 for her commitment to advancing human capital at the workplace.

In addition to her corporate endeavours, Ms Tan actively participates in the broader HR community and contributes to the labour landscape as a Tripartite Mediation Advisor, appointed by the Ministry of Manpower and the Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management. Furthermore, she is also appointed by the Salvation Army’s National Advisory Board as an Advisory member of the Board, furthering her commitment to shaping the field of human resources and its impact on society.

Ms Tan graduated from Texas University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance.
