Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children

Overview

Through the Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC), we support families of children who require medium to high levels of early intervention support, providing therapy and educational support for infants and young children with developmental needs.


A continuum of early intervention support is offered through EIPIC Under 2s, EIPIC@Centre, High Needs and DS-Plus.


EIPIC is offered at: 

  • SPD Ability Centre in Tiong Bahru
  • SPD@Bedok
  • SPD@Jurong East
  • SPD@Jurong West
  • SPD@Kembangan
  • SPD@Tampines

To apply

  1. Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents are to contact SG Enable for a referral.
  2. Applicants will undergo an initial screening before admittance to the programme.
  3. Both SG Enable and the child’s caregivers will receive an acknowledgement within two weeks of receipt of the referral.
  4. Applications should be submitted before the child reaches 5½ years old at the point of referral.
  5. As fees are determined by the Ministry of Social and Family Development’s Means Testing, caregivers are required to submit the following documents prior to admission:
    • child’s birth certificate and identity card-sized photo
    • NRIC and income statement/payslips of all members living in the same household

Alert: Beware of Fraudulent Payment Requests Made in SPD’s Name

SPD has been alerted to cases involving job scams where scammers have used SPD’s name to instruct individuals to transfer money.

Please remain vigilant. SPD does not authorise individuals to request or collect money on our behalf through such means. If you receive a suspicious request or are unsure whether it is genuine, please verify it directly with SPD by calling our general line at 6579 0700. Alternatively, you can call the ScamShield Hotline at 1799 before taking any action.

If you believe you may have fallen victim to a scam, please contact your bank immediately and make a police report.

SPD takes such matters seriously and we constantly review the necessary safeguards to protect the public and our supporters. Please be assured that legitimate donations and payments made through SPD’s official website and authorised platforms remain unaffected.
