Home-based befriending

Befriending a female client in her 40s with disabilities. Client is easy to get along with and very forthcoming, with interests in IT and social media. To engage her in social interaction through texts, calls and home visits. If possible, to accompany her to go out for activities such as dog walking. - Anchovale

Befriender needed for middle-aged male. Volunteer needed to teach him how to use social media for leisure and publicize his busking skills. Also includes teaching him how to set up accounts, upload content and manage accounts, etc. (Platforms such as Facebook, Patreon, etc.) - Bukit Batok St 51

Part of the role of the befriender would be to bring the client to the supermarket to shop for groceries and food materials as she enjoys cooking. The befriending will help increase her community ambulation and as well as increase her quality of life with good nutrition. - Toa Payoh Central

- Comfortable to work closely with SPD staff to understand content

Outings & Events

Conduct client wellness activities (baking, gardening, art classes, sport clinics) for clients with disabilities. - Toa Payoh

"DAC without walls" DWW seeks to integrate our clients in the community through exposure and socializing in various community settings. We are looking for volunteers to engage them in leisure, recreational and sports actvities with our community partners. - Clementi/ Harbourfront/ Tiong Bahru
- Tuesday or Thursday
- Between 7:30am to 2:30pm
- Commit to min. 3 months
- Above 21 years old

Programme Support

Looking for a Travel Buddy to accompany our children to our EIPIC centres or back home. Caregivers often experience difficulties taking time off their work to bring their children to our centre in the middle of the day. Training and orientation will be provided. - SPD@Jurong

We are recruiting Medical Buddy volunteers to accompany beneficiaries for medical appointments. Our beneficiaries may need support and assistance to travel from their home to the hospital/ clinic for their medical appointments. Volunteers can help to assist on medicine collection, confirm their next medical appointment and ensurig the necessary documents has been prepared for the appointment. - Around Singapore

We are recruiting volunteers to join us as Hydrotherapy Assistants! Transition to Employment Programme is running an aquatic ecercise group for adults with disabilities. Looking for volunteers to support our badminton sessions with adults with disabilities! Badminton coaches will be conducting modified badminton for our clients at Day Activity Centre and we need your help! Join in to support the sessions ! - Tiong Bahru, Kim Pong Park
