SPD is an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC) and can issue tax–deductible receipts. Only outright donations that do not provide a material benefit to the donor are tax-deductible. However, as a concession, certain donations made to IPCs on or after 1 May 2006 will be deemed to be pure donations even if there is a benefit given in return for the donation, as long as the benefits have no commercial value. Please refer to IRAS website for more details on which donations are tax–deductible.
How your organisation can help
Raise Funds for Us
You can raise funds for us as an organisation or as an individual. If you have an idea how you can do it, share them with us here!
Volunteer with Us
With limited resources, volunteers play an important role in SPD as our programmes and services require that additional help to operate from time to time. Register your areas of interest in which you can support us in here so that we can contact you when help is needed. Learn more >
Provide Employment Opportunities
If you are a business owner or a hiring manager, we hope to encourage you to adopt an inclusive hiring practice and provide employment, internship and project opportunities to people with disabilities. They are a pool of untapped resources and can contribute positively to your organisation’s bottom line. Learn more >
People with disabilities can do more and be more. We all can thrive and fulfill our potential with an inclusive environment that shows support and understanding. Show understanding of people with disabilities and help them become a part of our society. Learn more >
