Senior clinical coach at SPD@Tampines Ms Koh Yeng Yeng presents in this workshop on assessing the emotional health and impact on parenting and understanding the behaviour of a child with special needs. She will also speak on strategies to manage and improve a child’s behaviour. Thereafter Ms Karen Soh, mother of a 9-year-old boy with autism, will share her experiences, trials and tribulations of nurturing her child who has now progressed to attending mainstream school.

Closing date for registration is 13 August.

*We will assist participants in applying for Caregivers’ Training Grant (CTG) upon confirmed registration. Any one caregiver per child is eligible to apply for up to 100% subsidy of the course fee, subject to approval. Subsidy is capped at $200 per year per child with special needs or per adult with disabilities.
