Our heartiest congratulations to our Board member Prof Ho Lai Yun on receiving the MSF Outstanding Volunteer Award 2015!

Launched in 1995, the award is presented by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) to recognise individuals or groups of volunteers who have contributed significantly, in terms of time or effort, to the various groups served by MSF. Prof Ho is one who has contributed much in both aspects.

Despite his outstanding achievements in medicine and influence in the social service sector, Prof Ho is always humble and approachable. He had played a big part in the initial development of SPD’s early intervention services for children in the mid-2000s. Although a busy man, Prof Ho was ever ready to give us his advice so that the little ones could best benefit from our programmes. Apart from joining our Board of Management in 2013, Prof Ho also chairs the Services Committee to ensure relevance, service and quality of our programmes.

We take this opportunity to congratulate him on receiving the award, applaud his dedication and express our appreciation in receiving his guidance all these years.
