A supporter of SPD since 2009, Maxi-Cash is organising another charity drive in aid of people with disabilities. The company hopes to raise $20,000 for SPD’s various programmes and services through the sale of ‘Fortune Cat’ figurines.

The delightful felines come in four colours, with each representing a different blessing – red for fortune, blue for luck, green for longevity and gold for wealth. Each is sold at $10 at all Maxi-Cash outlets.

“This year, we wanted to create excitement with the adorable Fortune Cats. We hope the public will support our charity drive and collect all four Fortune Cats. A different Fortune Cat will be available every Thursday for four weeks, starting from 26 September,” said Ms Magdalene Eng, Senior Brand Manager, Maxi-Cash.

The charity drive will end on 31 December 2013.
