The neighbourhood adventure was organised as part of a Children’s Day celebration this year. The youngsters were brought to different parts of the estate including many interesting landmarks such as the historical 1939 air raid shelters and Tiong Bahru Market where they had to work in their teams to complete various tasks.

“Planning and conducting the Children’s Day celebration for the youths of SPD has been extremely fun. The youths really like our amazing race, and the rich heritage of the Tiong Bahru estate where we had the race provided an interesting backdrop for our stations and games. We are happy to be able to make this day extra special for them” said Chng Chin Soon, a FAC leader.
