The Korean Chamber of Commerce (KOCHAM) held its 8th Charity Golf & Dinner at the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC) on 22 September. The charity fundraiser, co-hosted by KOCHAM and the Embassy of the Republic of Korean in Singapore, is a symbol of co-operation between the business communities of Singapore and Korea. Dr Lee Suan Yew, Independent Director of Haw Par Corporation Limited, was the Guest-of-Honour.

The golf tournament was held at the Island Course with the tee-off at noon and lasted till the late afternoon where dinner guests occupied the 40 tables at the SICC Grand Ballroom.

We are happy to be selected once again as the beneficiary of the event and to receive at the dinner the $30,000 raised in a cheque presented by the Korean Ambassador to Singapore His Excellency Mr Suh Chung Ha, and the Chairman of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Singapore Mr Lee Hyun Kyoung.
