The recent Volunteers Networking Session saw SPD’s volunteers invited to a CPR/AED Workshop on 19 September. The participants not only equipped themselves with knowledge on basic life-saving procedures and protocols, they also had hands-on practice on how to perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and use the AED (automated external defibrillator).

Alise Oh, a regular volunteer with SPD, was pleased with what she learnt from the workshop, “The workshop was very informative and well-structured and trainers were very knowledgeable. I feel quite confident in giving CPR and using the defibrillator after the workshop. Thank you SPD for organising this workshop!”
