Animals in their books came to life for close to 50 young EIPIC kids when they visited the zoo on 17 October. Accompanied by caregivers, teachers and learning support staff, the children had the opportunity to watch and observe the animals in their natural habitats. The excursion was organised to complement the children’s classroom learning which was in the theme of animals in November.

The group was also accompanied by 23 volunteers from IBM who were on hand to help the children and ensure that the itinerary ran as planned.

“We are happy to see and feel the children’s excitement during the trip. This will certainly make our learning in classroom more enriching and colourful,”

said EIPIC teacher Ms Seah Phey San
