Participants gathering for the PSB Academy Chinese Student Association’s first charity event

The PSB Academy’s Chinese Student Association (CSA) organised their first charity event, Running for Love 2013, on Sunday, 25 May 2013, to raise funds for SPD clients. More than 40 PSB students participated in the evening run which started at the VivoCity Marang Trail, going along the scenic Southern Ridges before ending at the HortPark. The 3km run raised a total of $1,200 which was donated to SPD.

“We are encouraged by the enthusiasm of CSA and the students, and are glad that they have chosen to partner SPD in their first fundraising effort. With the close proximity of our centres, we look forward to more of such collaborations,” said Ms Helen Tay, senior manager of fundraising, SPD, who received the cheque on behalf of SPD at the event.
