SPD will be embarking on a 10-week public education campaign starting from early February 2017. Through this campaign, we hope to increase disability awareness, empathy and greater support for persons with disabilities with meaningful and fun-filled activities.

As part of our public education outreach, we are organising an open house at the SPD Ability Centre, our headquarters, on 4 March. This event goes beyond our friendly neighbours to everyone who supports the cause of helping persons with disabilities integrate into the society.

As part of the open house, we are also inviting guests to join us for the Tiong Bahru Inclusion Trail which will take participants to heritage sites and enable them to see unique architecture and visit hip and happening cafés and specialty stores in the estate. Complete missions at each pit stop along the wheelchair-accessible trail to collect pieces to form an inclusion puzzle at the finishing line.
